The Chicago Bears saw their five-game win streak snapped today after a hard-fought battle at Lambeau Field ended in a 28-21 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Despite a second-half surge and a late drive that tied the game, a final end-zone interception sealed Chicago’s fate.
In the first half, the Bears struggled — their offense sputtering, pass protection breaking down, and the Packers building a 14-3 lead, but after halftime, Chicago showed life: they executed two impressive scoring drives thanks to sharp halftime adjustments.
Still, Green Bay’s defense rose when it mattered — surrendering a couple deep bombs earlier in the game, but clamping down late, and snagging the critical interception that ended Chicago’s comeback.
As a result, the Bears drop to 9-4 on the season and fall out of first place in the NFC North. Even with the loss, there were bright spots — and lessons. Chicago showed grit, fought back, and almost stole a win. But inconsistencies on offense and breakdowns in coverage cost them in the end.
