President Uhuru Kenyatta has called on Kenyans to continue uniting in championing for development in the country and shunning divisive politics.
The president who spoke when he made an impromptu inspection tour of the Nairobi Metropolitan Services new asphalt blending plant on Kangundo road said the government will construct new health facilities in all wards in Nairobi County to ensure quality provision of healthcare.
The blending plant, constructed in a record two months by NMS is a 3000 tonnes per day facility, an amount of asphalt adequate for paving 3 kilometers of road daily. The president, who was accompanied by infrastructure CS James Macharia and NMS director General Major General Mohamed Badi, witnessed the processing, loading and application of asphalt blended at the new facility.
