15 of our family members from the USA (United States of America) traveled to Jedlicze, Poland to attend one of our Polish family's wedding. For many of the family members, this was their first time visiting Poland and for some it was there first time out of the country. For me, it was my second time visiting Poland and attending a wedding there, so I had an idea of what to expect. I was able to stay longer through the evening and capture more of the wedding events that I missed with my first trip as previously, I had one too many toasts with my family members and had to retire early to the hotel that we were staying at. I was more relaxed this time and was able to soak in more of the music, the language, the dancing, the people, the food and the culture. Our American family was able to bond and deepen connections with our Polish Heritage as Poland was where my Grandfather was born, raised. He and my grandmother escaped traveled to America after escaping when the Nazis invaded Poland.
