U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday defended her visit to a hair salon after facing criticism for being seen on a security camera inside the salon, despite San Francisco not permitting indoor salons, and without a mask.
She said she respected all the salon's rules and had been told the salon was allowing one person indoors at a time.
Pelosi also said she didn't have her mask on just after having her hair washed as she doesn't wear one when washing her hair.
