My parents as many other Afghan and Asian parents are quite strict when it comes to cultural sensitive subjects like moving out. In my case they were more concerned as I started my career at a very young age and was thrown in the public eye thus open to even more criticism from the wider community. Naturally they were very hesitant to let me move out, this video is my journey of how I went about moving out. This is by no means to encourage anyone to move out or go against their parents wishes, this is just me sharing my personal experience, what worked for me, what I learned from it and my overall opinion on the matter. Just because this is what my journey looks like doesn't mean yours will be the same however, by sharing my story it may potentially help you get a different perspective on the matter.
