From Flamingos to Pelicans | Flamingo Bird Festival Attracts Tourists in Tirupati Dist | IdiSangathi

Описание: The melodious chirping of colorful migratory birds from across India and abroad has added new charm to tourism in Tirupati district. The wetlands of Nellapattu and Pulicat Lake, known as habitats for several rare and endangered bird species, are hosting a grand three-day Bird Festival.

Six locations have been specially prepared for the celebrations. Along with birdwatching, the festival offers hot air balloon rides, paragliding, island tourism, and other adventure activities to attract tourists. The initiative aims to promote eco-tourism while creating awareness about the conservation of migratory birds and wetlands.

The festival will conclude with a grand finale, to be attended by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, adding significance to the event.
