Описание: In this video we're taking another look at the Lagomarsino Numeria Model 9203, vintage Mechanical Calculator.

In Part One we opened up the machine and freed the jammed mechanism, repaired a couple of damaged parts in the keyboard and lubricated the main mechanism. You can see that video here:

In this video we'll dismantle the carriage, containing the counter and output registers. The counter register shaft needed to be partially disassembled and a replacement indexing pin made and installed. The output register shaft had several seized number wheels and again this had to be disassembled, the seized indexing pins freed off and then the whole thing reassembled again.

The carriage on the Lagomarsino Numeria is fairly similar to that on a Monroe mechanical calculator, so some of the information may be of help if you're trying to repair one of those machines.
