I ride a mix of terrain, so I’ve gradually built up a small selection of bikes that cover the kinds of riding I enjoy most. In this video, I take each one out on the type of ground it handles best, and share some thoughts on how to choose the right bike for your own adventures — whether you’re planning a tour, getting into bikepacking, or just looking for something versatile.

This isn’t a deep technical review, just an honest look at what’s worked for me, and a few things to think about when deciding what sort of bike suits your riding style best.
