In this video, we will start with the concept of the number line and then use that concept to learn about the cartesian coordinate system. We will see how can we represent any point in a two-dimensional plane, that is on the x-axis and on the y-axis.
We will also learn about the quadrants and the signs associated with the x-coordinate and the y-coordinate in respective quadrants. This will help us identify the quadrant in which the point will lie in a two-dimensional plane without even plotting the point.
