ハシビロガモ（Northern Shoveler）／撮影地：山梨県甲斐市｜65秒　サントリーの愛鳥活動

Описание: 山梨県にある「サントリー登美の丘ワイナリー」近辺で撮影されたハシビロガモの採餌です。集団が円を描いて回る行動は、ある個体の足ヒレの動きで水面近くに浮かび上がったプランクトンを、他の個体が後ろを追いかけて食べようとしていることから起こっていると考えられています。
In this video, Northern Shovelers can be seen foraging near the Suntory's Tominooka Winery in Yamanashi Prefecture. The raft of Northern Shovelers swims in a circular motion. This is said to be caused by the ducks following closely behind others to eat the plankton stirred up near the water surface by means of their webbed foot movements.
