Sangria is one of the most popular cocktails in Spain made with wine and fresh fruit. Here are some easy, refreshing & delicious recipes of Sangria that pack a punch.
Not just any Sangria, 3 types of Sangria!! Red wine, White wine and Cava Sangria. If you don't have Cava, you can substitute it with Champagne or any Sparkling wine.
Your guests are going to be so impressed with your creations, so lets get mixing ;)
As promised, here are the recipes -
1) Red Wine Sangria -
Strawberries
Lemons
Raspberries
Blueberries
Oranges
(Use how much ever fruit you like. If you don't want to add too many fruits, just add the lemons & oranges as it will not be a Sangria without those two.)
1-2 Tbsp of Brown sugar (feel free to add more or less depending on how sweet you want it to be)
Lemon Soda or Tonic Water (you can use 7up or sprite as substitutes)
1-2 shots each of Cointreau, Rum & Brandy
Squish all the fruits so their juices get released and infused into the Sangria
Add Ice followed by 1 full bottle of Red wine
Add some more oranges & lemons, mix well and its ready to be served.
ENJOY!
2) White Wine Sangria -
Bananas
Kiwis
Lemons
Oranges
Pears
Apples
Black Grapes
Blueberries
Green/White Grapes
(Use how much ever fruit you like)
1-2 Tbsp White Sugar (We're using white sugar because we don't want the molasses taste of the brown sugar. Feel free to add more or less sugar depending on how sweet you want it to be)
1-2 shots each of Cointreau, Rum & Brandy
Lemon Soda or Tonic Water (you can use 7up or sprite as substitutes)
Squish all the fruits so their juices get released and infused into the Sangria
Add ice followed by 1 full bottle of White wine. (I used semi dry white wine but you can choose any white wine you like)
Mix well and it's ready to be served.
ENJOY!
3) Cava Sangria -
Bananas
Kiwis
Lemons
Oranges
Pears
Add ice followed by 1 full bottle of Cava
(You can substitute Cava with Champagne or any Sparkling wine)
Mix well and it's ready to be served.
ENJOY!
4) Non Alcoholic Sangria -
Same fruits as the Cava sangria
1-2 tbsp of white sugar (We're using white sugar because we don't want the molasses taste of the brown sugar. Feel free to add more or less sugar depending on how sweet you want it to be)
Lemon soda or Tonic water (you can use 7up or sprite as substitutes)
White or Red Grape juice
Ice
Squish the fruit so they can release their juices and infuse your drink
Mix well & its ready to be served.
ENJOY!
Have a lovely day :)
See you next week :)
