Hi there, my beloved ICF-SW55 is back and better than ever. Originally purchased from eBay about 7 years ago, eventually the caps gave in - as expected. All fixed with new tantalum caps and LED backlight upgrade, calibration etc.
Still one of the finest looking shortwave portables ever - if not quite up there with the very best in terms of performance.
