Due to rising pollution concerns, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) had earlier imposed restrictions on the use of wood and coal stoves in the city.
However, the situation has recently become difficult because of a cooking gas shortage. Considering the challenges faced by residents, the BMC has temporarily suspended the ban on wood and coal stoves to provide relief to the public.
