Yo! 👋 In this video, we’re diving into the second boss in the Hall of Illusion (Expert Tier) – Marta – and let me tell you, she’s not going easy on melee players 😤

If you’re struggling with curse stacks, surprise wolves, or that random rough attack sequence, this guide breaks it all down so you can clear the fight with confidence. Let’s go:

💀 Curse Stack Mechanic
Most of Marta’s abilities (except for her basic claw swipe) apply a curse debuff.
These stacks don’t deal damage over time, but:
→ They reduce your healing
→ And make you take more damage when she does her AoE explosion at the end of her mechanic.
Hit 10 stacks and you’ll get feared – not ideal mid-fight 😅
You can’t cleanse them manually – they reset automatically after the mechanic, so save your heals and potions until then.

🔺 Avoid These Key Attacks:
Cone-shaped semicircle AoE: Sprint-morph or movement block behind the boss to avoid it.
Rectangular frontal attack: Just sidestep or roll away from the area.
Fast Fury Block: Marta throws in very quick fury blocks – react fast or eat the floor.
Dash + Fear Combo: If she dashes and then teleports to you, expect a follow-up fear attack. Keep moving!

🐺 Main Mechanic – Wolf Phase
Once Marta teleports to the center and shows the blood moon icon, here’s what’s coming:
She spawns a pack of small wolves that rush you.
→ Use AoE skills to clear them fast.
Two bigger wolves spawn on opposite ends and slowly walk toward the boss.
→ Kill them before they reach her, or she gets empowered.
Avoid the damaging zones on the floor while all this is going on.
At the end of the phase, Marta lets out a howl, which consumes your stacks to deal AoE damage.
→ The more stacks you had, the more it hurts

🌀 Second Phase – Disappearing & Rough Attacks
After a few normal attacks, Marta will disappear and begin a rough attack combo.
Some hits are fast, some slow – zoom your camera out and try to read the animations.
After 2–3 roughs, she restarts her rotation from the top.

📌 Critical Tip:
During the second mechanic, you’ll need to block a triple fury combo.
Timing is RNG (fast, medium, slow), but blocking the THIRD hit is crucial.
Miss it, and she’ll punish you with a fear dash that can easily throw your run.

✅ Final Tips to Beat Marta:
Use life leech and sustain builds – she’s manageable if you can keep healing.
Save your big heals and pots until stacks are reset.
Stay mobile during dashes and cone attacks.
Get used to the rhythm – learn the rotation, and you’ll be fine.
