The Dolphin Quantum is one of the best value robotic pool cleaner we have tested. It checks off all the essential features you want in a pool robot such as:
Waterline Cleaning: Quantum doesn't miss any areas, as it covers the entire pool floor, walls, and waterline (not just wall coverage!)
Multiple Filter Options: Quantum includes the Ultra-Fine and Standard Filter
Programmable Timer: Quantum can be scheduled to run automatically every day, two days, or three days

The Quantum's coverage is simply amazing. Most of Dolphin's cleaners cover the pool floor and wall, which is great. But, make sure to look for a cleaner with "Waterline Cleaning". This option allows the robot to climb and stay at the waterline, scrubbing away at any algae or anything at the surface of your swimming pool. This is a feature found only on Dolphin's top robotic pool cleaners, such as the Dolphin Premier or Sigma. Other cleaners may miss this problem area, but not the Quantum.

Filter options are important, but some cleaners only include the standard fine filter. Not the Quantum. Maytronics gave the Dolphin Quantum two filter options: Standard Fine Filter and the Ultra-Fine Filter.

The Ultra-Fine does everything the standard filter does and more. It can clear up tiny particles in your water and capture small algae and bacteria. We found ourselves using this filter option the most, as it was able to capture algae and debris that was making our pool water cloudy.

Lastly, the Quantum's programmable timer was a lifesaver. Simply plug it in and schedule it. No programming skills were needed, but you just select from the 3 cleaning cycles. Then the Dolphin Quantum automatically started and cleaned our pool everyday.
