Representatives of the three warring parties in Bosnia gathered on Thursday (28/3) at the Zetra stadium to sign up for free mine detection equipment. There were 166 detectors handed over, which will be split three ways between the armies of the former warring factions.

there are believed to be up to 3 million mines we have seen more than 8 thousand records since d-day but they account for only a third of minefields which means there are many more.. the urgency is great the former confrontation lines are extremely dangerous.. no proper reconstruction can begin unless mine clearance happens first.
