After completing all three preparation missions, The Black Box File will be available for the player on the Darnell Inc. app. Upon starting the mission, the player must head to LSIA and go to the control tower where the hacking device was previously planted.

Within range of the air traffic control tower you can hack it to reroute the cargo plane away from LSIA.
The player hacks into the air traffic control using an app on their iFruit phone by completing a minigame. After completing the minigame, the player gets access to the camera of the target Cargo Plane, confirming it is being remotely piloted, and changes its route towards Blaine County.

The stolen Merryweather Tula is parked in the place where the player stashed it previously. The player must use the Tula to get close to the Cargo Plane, which is being escorted by two Buzzard Attack Choppers and upload a virus to the plane while in range using the SecuroServ Hack app.

After the virus is uploaded, the player must destroy the engines of the Cargo Plane using the Tula's weaponry (or any weaponry other players in their own vehicles may have). Eventually, Fort Zancudo will deploy two P-996 LAZER jets to take down the player's Tula. The jets manage to damage the engines of the Tula with their explosive cannons. The Tula will eventually explode when reaching the Cargo Plane's crash site, the Alamo Sea, forcing the player(s) to jump out and seek a new way to escape.

While Pavel is calling his contact to bring a new vehicle for the player, they must dive and use the sonar equipment to locate the Cargo Plane's crash site and its black box underwater. It is necessary to use explosives provided by Pavel to open a hole on the pilot cabin and retrieve the black box.

Returning to the surface, Pavel's contact will be waiting for the player on a Weaponized Dinghy and will help the player escape the police and other pursuing enemies through the Cassidy Creek. The player will be taken to the Sonar Collections Dock, where the buyer is waiting for the black box, completing the mission.
