Step 1 : Get Birth Registration Certificate from your council
Step 2 : Get Birth Registration Certificate from HCI London
Step 3 : Apply for Indian passport
Step 4 : Apply for VISA - dependent visa

Documents required for Council Registration:
Baby's red book
Parents' passports or birth certificates
Documentation confirming any change of name, such as a deed poll (if applicable)
Parents' marriage / civil partnership certificate (if applicable)
A recent utility bill, bank statement or council tax bill
Spelling of all baby's names

Documents required for HCI Registration:
Online application MHA form U/s 4a(1)
Original & copy of the birth certificate of the child.
Declaration form dully signed by both parents.
Original & copy of the passport of both the parents.
Original & copy of the BRP of both the parents.
Original & copy of the marriage certificate.

Documents required for Passport (MINOR):
Appointment confirmation letter.
Online application form. Two recent photographs (2 inch X 2 inch) with clear white background.
Copy of both parents passport (First and Last page), along with the current UK visa.
Copy of full version Birth Certificate mentioning both parents name.
Copy of Birth Registration Certificate issued by the High commission of India, London.
Copy of parent’s registered marriage certificate.

Annexure C in case of single parent
UK address proof.
PPF-Personal Particular Form for both parents.
