Community Giving Made Easy: Supporting Families With $5 Hunger Bags

Now through January 1, shoppers at any of the 70+ Albertsons, Vons, and Pavilions locations across San Diego County can support local families by purchasing a $5 Hunger Bag at checkout. Each bag helps provide nutritious food to neighbors facing hunger. Customers can also donate individual nonperishable items by placing them in the Food Bank’s iconic red barrels located at the front of each store.

Gerald shares how Singleton Schreiber is proud to be involved with the Food Bank and spread awareness for this critical campaign. The Holiday Food Drive is essential to maintaining a strong food safety net, especially as families continue to face rising food prices, housing costs, and other financial pressures.
