After a 3 year hiatus the Renault EF15 engine is finally back in the Lotus and has run. This was the first fire-up. Although this is always a fairly nerve wracking experience it went as well as could be hoped. The engine sounds and smells great and we're looking forward to shaking the car down in the next few days before heading to Goodwood.
With any fire-up after such a long time the pressure of filming it professionally means we just shot this as it happened on a simple camera - expect more to come....
