Описание: Juliana Peres Magalhães received the maximum possible sentence for her role in the Northern Virginia Au Pair Affair killings: 10 years in prison.

The judge listed 10 reasons she handed down the harshest sentence. First: “Until today, you have shown no empathy for the victim.”

Brendan Banfield is set to be sentenced this spring for the murders. Magalhães testified that while having an affair, the pair used a fetish sex website to lure a stranger -- Joseph Ryan -- to the Banfields' home and then framed him in Christine Banfield's murder so they could be together. Shortly after the murders, the Banfields' young daughter was calling the au pair "Mommy."
