Who do you have in your life that you can trust? Even though it may feel like your life is over it's not. You don't have to give the news to friends, family or coworkers until you're ready.

In the beginning the most important piece for me was having a support system of people who would both sit with me in my grief and help me move on to the next step. My kids and family were among the first to know.

You have the rest of your life to live and you can be as choosy as you want with this new information. You may feel like you have NO control over your life so take this one opportunity to make decisions that work for YOU!

It's taken me two years to become comfortable with the idea of going public on this platform. I've known all along this was something God wanted to use in my life as a ministry to others, but I've wrestled with that decision and the role faith plays in my life. Many, MANY hours have been spent with a Christian counselor, seeking the right decision for me and my family.
