Hello BBB Adventurers!
Welcome to Episode 14 of Loop the Lake, our bike touring adventure circling Lake Michigan, a nearly month long journey that will take is more than 1100 miles through Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana.
For this adventure we are riding our brand new Priority Gemini Titanium bikes (@PriorityBicyclesNYC ) that have been converting into full on touring/adventure machines. We believe these Gemini bikes with their Smart Shift Pinion gearbox and Gate Carbon Drive are the ideal platform for this kind of touring. We plan on doing a full review of these bikes when the adventure is finished.
Day 15 started Straits State Park and ends in Mackinac City after a brief stop on Mackinac Island.
