In the world of Cyberpunk, this marks the date of the notorious AHQ Disaster, where Arasaka Tower was destroyed by some of Cyberpunk's most notable characters. In this special upload, we explore todays events as seen in Cyberpunk history, to get to the bottom of just what went down, (no pun intended.)

CORRECTION: The Cyberpunk RED Core Rulebook attests that the nuclear device detonated in Arasaka Tower technically resulted in an air blast, meaning the weapon was detonated at a height where the resulting fireball would not make contact with the surface of the earth. In this case, Pondsmith attests that the nuke went off roughly 366m/yds from the surface, lending further credence to the idea that Morgan Blackhand was the true carrier of the weapon. However, this remains unclear. It is otherwise unknown how an air blast could have occurred given the timeline of events we already know. Some suggest that Blackhand may have even had a second, as-of-yet unknown Militech-supplied bomb.
