Описание: फिल्म मुन्ना भाई (संजय दत्त), मुंबई के एक खूंखार गुंडे (आशीष विद्यार्थी) के साथ शुरू होती है। मुन्ना भाई उसे पकड़ लेते हैं, और पिल्लई कोमल (ऐश्वर्या राय) की डांसिंग क्लास में भागने की कोशिश करता है। कोमल मुन्ना को उसकी पिटाई करने से रोकती है और उसे पिल्लई से सॉरी बोलने के लिए कहती है। मुन्ना सीधे उसके प्यार में पड़ जाता है बिना यह जाने कि वह प्यार में है। यह देखते हुए कि मुन्ना भाई बीमार लग रहे हैं, उनका साथी उन्हें डॉ. रस्तोगी (अमिताभ बच्चन) के पास ले जाता है, जिसका निदान यह है कि मुन्ना भाई "लव वायरस" से पीड़ित हैं, जिसे केवल प्यार से ही ठीक किया जा सकता है। वह मुन्ना भाई को सलाह देता है कि वह उस लड़की को लुभाने की कोशिश करे जिसके साथ वह चुदवाता है। डॉ. रस्तोगी और मुन्ना भाई को इस बात का एहसास नहीं है कि यह लड़की कोई और नहीं बल्कि डॉक्टर की छोटी बहन है। रस्तोगी कोमल को उसकी शादी कराने के लिए विदेश ले जाता है, इस बात से अनजान कि वह गेंदबाजी प्रशिक्षक राजा (अजय देवगन) से प्यार करती है। राजा, भेस में, रस्तोगी को बेवकूफ बनाता है और विदेश में उनका पीछा करता है। मुन्ना भाई पिल्लई द्वारा बंदूक की नोक पर है, और राजा उसे बचाता है। यह जानने से अनजान कि वे दोनों एक ही लड़की से प्यार करते हैं, रस्तोगी उनके बीच दरार पैदा कर देता है, जिससे राजा की पिटाई हो जाती है। मुन्ना भाई अपनी बंदूक निकाल लेते हैं, लेकिन इससे पहले कि रस्तोगी को पता चलता कि उसने क्या किया है, कोमल राजा को बचाने के लिए कूद पड़ती है और उसे गोली मार दी जाती है। मुन्ना भाई को अपनी गलती का एहसास होता है, आत्मसमर्पण करता है और अपराध की दुनिया छोड़ देता है, जबकि डॉ। रस्तोगी को भी अपनी गलती का एहसास होता है और वह कोमल को राजा से शादी करने देता है।

The film opens with Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt), a dreaded Mumbai-streeted goon, on the chase to Pillai (Ashish Vidyarthi). Munna Bhai catches him, and Pillai tries to escape into Komal's (Aishwarya Rai) dancing class. Komal stops Munna from beating him up and makes him say sorry to Pillai. Munna straight-away falls in love with her without realizing that he is in love. Noticing that Munna Bhai seems to be ill, his sidekick takes him to Dr. Rastogi (Amitabh Bachchan), whose diagnosis is that Munna Bhai is suffering from the "love virus" which can only be cured with love. He advises Munna Bhai to try to woo the girl with whom he is smitten. What Dr. Rastogi and Munna Bhai do not realize is that this girl is none other than the doctor's younger sister. Rastogi takes Komal abroad to get her married, unaware she is in love with Raja (Ajay Devgn), the bowling instructor. Raja, in disguise, fools Rastogi and follows them abroad. Munna Bhai is then on gun-point by Pillai, and Raja saves him. Unaware of knowing they both love the same girl, Rastogi makes a torn between them, which ends up getting Raja beat up. Munna Bhai gets his gun out, but before Rastogi realizes what he has done, Komal jumps in to save Raja and is shot. Munna Bhai realizing his mistake, surrenders, and gives up the crime world, while Dr. Rastogi also realizes his mistake and lets Komal marry Raja.
