New year shunting operations at Helston Railway | 30.1.25

Описание: Me and other volunteers were doing some shunting manoeuvres at Helston Railway using Ruston Hornsby 165 No. 395305 & Andrew Barclay shunter No. 455 'Kingswood. The first operation is where we took both locos up to Trevarno to collect the coaches, the Ruston went to bring them next to the platform and then headed back, whilst we stayed with 'Kingswood' to shunt them back to Prospidnick!

The 2nd operation of the day was heading up to Truthall Halt to collect a flatbed wagon sitting near the bridge towards the extension of the line facing Helston town. As shown in the video, I was on horn duty when we passed crossings. We made a stop at Trevarno Both ways to load some items onto the flatbed wagon to take back to Prospidnick. Both operations were a success & now all rolling stock is in place!

I had permission to film at the locations shown in the video as I am a volunteer at the railway.
