Angaril grew up in a secluded Altmer settlement, high in the Mountainous border of Skyrim and High Rock. Born blind, with incredibly pale skin and a natural resistance to the cold, he is a descendant of the Snow Elves – the Ancient Falmer. Angaril had a special bond to his great grandfather, a pure-blooded Snow Elf, and spent every moment he could listening to his stories and learning his lessons. He loved hearing tales of the time before the Nords, of the culture and magics of the Snow Elves, and his great-grandfather’s escape from Dwarven enslavement. Even though he could not see, the stories of his great-grandfather filled Angaril's head with dreams and visions.
With the passing of Angaril’s great-grandfather in 4 E 201, he feels an overwhelming urge to honour his memory. Angaril resolves to visit the lands of his ancestors, to journey to the historic sites that changed the fate of his people, and to perform the pilgrimage to the Chantry of Auriel, the ultimate rite of passage for his near-extinct culture.
In this build we guide Angaril on his journey through Skyrim. Will he stay true to the teachings of Auriel, or will his journey be another chapter in the Nordic-Falmer war? How will you - the herald of Auriel - guide his hand?
The build was made in Skyrim AE. Played on Nintendo Switch, so no mods! The entire playthrough was on Legendary difficulty.
