Thank you for listening! Making the melon collie EP has been very cathartic for me. I felt I needed to say something about what I've been feeling: that sometimes you need to make light of heavy things as a way to cope--a buffer between you and the weight that would break you. That's why I have a growing appreciation and respect for dark humor. Because I feel like people who can joke about their pain when they're at their lowest have found a way to light a fire using the darkness itself as fuel, and that's kind of cool.
