RECIPE KEY NOTES:
MAKE SURE THE DRY INGREDIENTS ARE TRULY SATURATED WITH FAT.
AFTER ADDING THE MILK, SUGAR AND YEAST MIXTURE DO NOT KNEAD. JUST TRY TO MAKE THE DOUGH COME TOGETHER.
PRE-HEAT YOUR OVEN BEFORE HALF AN HOUR AND STAY CLOSE TO THE OVEN WHILE THE MA'AMOULS ARE BAKING BECAUSE THEY WILL BAKE QUICKLY.
INGREDIENTS:
500 G FINE SEMOLINA (LIKE FLOUR)
250 G ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 TSP MAHLEB
QUARTER OF A NUTMEG GRATED
300 G MELTED CLARIFIED BUTTER
3/4 CUP WARM MILK (180 ml)
3/4 CUP SUGAR (150 g)
1/4 TSP INSTANT YEAST
FOR THE FILLING 750 G DATE PASTE AND 1 TBSP SOFT BUTTER
