We had planned a weekend getaway to explore the local hiking trails, the museum and the Oazrk filming location and take in the scenic views of the mountain. But as soon as we stepped inside the Inn, we knew that something was off.

The lobby was dimly lit, and the air was thick with a musty smell. The front desk clerks were very nice but gave us a creepy welcome. We brushed it off as fatigue from the long drive and headed to our rooms.

As soon as we entered the room, we felt a chill run down our spines. The room was freezing cold, and the air was heavy with an eerie silence. We turned on the lights, turn on the heat and to our surprise, the decor was outdated and had a creepy vibe to it. It was like stepping back in time to the 1800s.

But as the night progressed, things started to take a turn for the worse. We heard footsteps outside our door, but when we opened it, there was no one in sight but the Stone. The creaking floors and the eerie silence sent shivers down our spines. But that was just the beginning.

As we settled in for the night, we heard strange noises coming from the walls. It sounded like scratching, but we couldn't pinpoint the source. Was it the ghost on the mountain? We brushed it off as animals scurrying outside and tried to go back to sleep.

But then the noises started to get louder, and we could hear a faint whispering voice. It was so low that we couldn't make out what it was saying, but it was enough to send chills down our spines. And then, suddenly, the lights went out.

We were left in complete darkness, and the eerie silence was deafening. We fumbled for our phones to use as a source of light but they were out of battery. We sat in silence, waiting for the lights to come back on, but they never did.

As we sat there in the dark, we heard footsteps approaching us. We tried to scream, but our voices were stuck in our throats. And then, all at once, the lights flickered on. We were relieved to see each other, but something was different.

The room was no longer cold, and the creepy decor was replaced with modern furnishings. It was as if the entire room had been transformed in the blink of an eye. We didn't know what to make of it, but we knew one thing for sure.

We had to get out of the Inn, and fast. We packed our bags and left without looking back. We never spoke about what happened that night, but we knew that the Inn on Stone Mountain was not just any ordinary place. It was haunted by something sinister and malevolent, and we had come face to face with it.
