In the last few years, with the help of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, the FAP company from Priboj has managed to develop new versions of dump trucks, tippers and tractors, and it is also actively working on the conversion of the BOV-3 armored fighting vehicle into a variant of the APC KIV reconnaissance and combat vehicle with FAP chassis. -'s trucks instead of Slovenian TAM truck chassis.
He is also working in cooperation with the company Zastava TERVO on the development of the new MRAP vehicle M-20 in which the company FAP is also participating with the truck chassis of their truck model FAP 2228.
The first new FAP truck model that I am presenting today is the FAP 3040 BDST/AV truck, a new tractor of the Serbian Army with a gross weight of 30 tons and with all-wheel drive.
The FAP 3040 truck pulls the NPP30 semi-trailer and the larger NPP50, which are products of the "STILT" company from Smederevska Palanka.
The entire set of tractor trucks and semi-trailers are domestically produced.
The development of the new tractor truck was carried out by the experts of the Military Technical Institute from Žarkovo.
The FAP 3040 tractor truck is intended primarily for towing M-80A infantry fighting vehicles, "Gvozdika" self-propelled howitzers and anti-aircraft systems such as the Strela-10M.
VTI will soon complete the project of the 8x8 wheel drive tank tug, successor to the FAP 2832 and FAP 3232 tank carriers.
Tractor truck FAP 3232 (VBDT-SAV) tank towing tractor presented at the JNA Military Parade in Belgrade in 1985.
For testing purposes, two prototypes were produced that were tested in difficult conditions. It was concluded that the 320 hp engine is relatively weak for that purpose and that a much stronger engine should be installed. The new model never came about because the war in the country stopped the whole concept of the 8x8 vehicle.
The bumpers with the new light group on this truck are also the work of the experts of the Military Technical Institute.
Another variant of the FAP 3040 truck is in the RBK 6x4 wheel drive version. The tipper prototype for the Serbian Army is already in production, and this FAP 3040 truck model has a new bumper with LED light group according to military standards. The FAP 3040 BK/32 6x4 wheel drive tipper truck variant is fitted with a MERCEDES engine OM 457.
Predstavljanje novih tipova FAP-ovih kamiona u verziji FAP 3040.
Kompanija FAP iz Priboja je u poslednjih par godina uz pomoć Ministarstva odbrane Srbije uspela da razvije nove verzije kamiona sandučara, kipera i tegljača, a aktivno radi i na prepravkama borbeno-oklopnih vozila BOV-3 u varijantu izviđačko-borbenog vozila BOV KIV sa šasijama FAP-ovih kamiona umesto šasija slovenačkih TAM kamiona.
Takođe radi i u kooperaciji sa kompanijom Zastava TERVO na razvoju novog MRAP vozila M-20 u kojoj kompanija FAP takođe učestvuje sa kamionskom šasijom njihovog modela kamiona FAP 2228.
Prvi novi model FAP kamiona koji danas predstavljam je kamion FAP 3040 BDST/AV , novi tegljač Vojske Srbije bruto mase 30 tona i sa pogonom na sve točkove. Kamion FAP 3040 vuče poluprikolicu NPP30 i veću NPP50 koje su proizvod kompanije “STILT” iz Smederevske Palanke.
Ceo komplet kamion tegljač i poluprikolica su domaće proizvodnje.
Razvoj novog kamiona tegljača su radili stručnjaci Vojno Tehničkog Instituta iz Žarkova. Kamion tegljač FAP 3040 je namenjen prvenstveno за vuču, borbenih vozila pešadije M-80A, samohodnih haubica 2S1 “Gvozdika” и sistema PVO kao što su Strela-10M.
VTI će uskoro završiti i projekat тегљачa за тенкове pogona točkova 8х8 naslednika tenkonosaca FAP 2832 i FAP 3232.
