Today's California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0543 MST. P42s #5 & #4 led the 8-car consist to a single spot - two car passenger stop, with 3 (detraining travelers from car 2 (transition/dorm/sleeper) and 2 from car 7 (coach). There were no new fares today. One of the 3 pax from car 2 is the AMTRAK manager for the district. He was conducting his ride-a-longs on both #6 and #5. After a short dwell time in station, the high ball was given and on a clear signal, the Zephyr rolled west toward Union Station in Denver as its next stop in the journey to Emeryville.
