Another fishery audit for you all and this time it’s on a forgotten water which I never paid much attention to in previous years. From being young I walked from Calow to Arkwright to fish the small village pond and we heard a 2nd lake was nearby but never bothered. Anyway after seeing the odd match results, a few catch reports and a good view from google maps I thought I’d give you all a tour.
A few safety signs and a safety ring and I’d have this little place in my top 5. But ultimately this little gem of a fishery is so set back I don’t think enough keen anglers know about it.
Anybody fish it? Anybody fish the matches? Let me know in the comments as I’d love a days fishing here. With only minimal information and nothing online in great detail I don’t have much to give on this one. So hopefully you guys can get the comments section rolling.
Whoever runs it, well done👏🏼 this is the type of fishery I’d enjoy a coaching session on and there’s not many of those left nowadays.
