New Law! Some People Cannot Now Buy a House in Italy, With Italian Lawyer Nick Metta

Описание: In June 2022 a law was passed in Canada making it illegal for foreigners to purchase property there. The law just went into effect as of 1 Jan. 2023. Due to a default reciprocity rule, it is now not permitted for Canadian citizens to purchase residential property in Italy. That said, there are some conditions where this restriction may not apply (ruins appear to be excluded and some other properties may be ok) and there are workarounds. In any case, Nick Metta from ‪@StudioLegaleMetta‬ has given us a breakdown of this new Canadian law, what it means and how it affects our Canadian friends. And, as always, Nick has SOLUTIONS!
