This piece is included in the untitled collection known as The Carolan Fragments, held by the National Library of Ireland. The manuscript preserves 28 of Carolan’s works, and watermark analysis has confirmed that it was published sometime after 1742.

This tune is included as Nos. 156 and 157 in the 366 Tunes for the 20-String Harp collection, and as Nos. 229 and 230 in the 333 Tunes for the 12-String Harp collection.
