When I was a kid living in Montana, I always had wanted to ski Whitefish but never got a chance. I managed to make the trek out there this year and it was definitely worth it despite the unfortunate late-season conditions. The backside actually had some great snow, so the entire mountain crowd went there and made the lift a 20+ min wait every time lol. It was bluebird all 3 days I skiied there, which made for some absolutely beautiful views of Glacier National park and flathead valley, and flying down those groomers with that in the backdrop was awesome.
