Magnolia Bakery Banana Pudding – Homemade Recipe
Ingredients:
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 ½ cups ice-cold water
1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 box vanilla wafers
4–6 bananas, sliced
Instructions:
1. Make the pudding base
Whisk together the condensed milk and cold water until smooth. Add the vanilla pudding mix and whisk again. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until thick.
2. Make the whipped cream
Whisk the heavy cream with vanilla extract until thick and fluffy.
3. Combine
Fold the whipped cream gently into the chilled pudding mixture until completely combined and silky.
4. Prep the base (optional twist)
Blend vanilla wafers into crumbs and mix with melted butter to create a buttery base layer.
5. Assemble
In a dish, layer wafers, banana slices, and pudding. Repeat 2–3 times, finishing with pudding on top.
6. Chill
Refrigerate for 4 hours before serving so the wafers soften and flavors blend.
