Описание: In this video, we continue building our fabric stitch dictionary with buttonhole stitch variations, worked step-by-step and stitch-by-stitch. I demonstrate the buttonhole bar, barb stitch, and battlement stitch, using a variety of threads and needles while sharing tips about tension, needle choice, and fabric handling.

This is part of an ongoing slow-stitch series where we practice individual embroidery stitches on fabric pages that will eventually become a stitched reference book. These lessons are beginner-friendly and perfect for doodle cloths, stitch sampling, and creative experimentation.

We’re working from Sharon Boggon’s stitch dictionary @sharonboggon (both the book and her website at https://pintangle.com/stitch-dictionary/) translating those stitches into a physical, hand-stitched format.

If you’re new, don’t worry about perfection — this series is about learning, repetition, and enjoying the process.
