In 2013, all original Schindler M-Series lifts in Ngee Ann City were replaced with lifts from Kone. Elements of the original Schindler lifts, such as the thin rubber strip between each exterior door at certain levels as well as the distinctive Schindler triangular keyhole still remain.
These lifts shown here serve the basement carpark, the 6th and 7th floor carparks and the shopping mall itself as well as Takashimaya Department Store.
