TRIP REPORT | AIR ITALY (Meridiana)| BOEING B737-800| Milan Malpensa to Rome Fiumicino | Economy

Описание: Hi everybody!
This is my second trip report on Air Italy, the Italian newco born as the result of Meridiana merger by Qatar Airways
(QR took over 49% shares of Meridiana parent company AQA holding)
New Air Italy management chose Milano Malpensa airport as airline hub.
From this airport they planned to offer a growing route network including both domestic and international destinations.
I chose to fly this route because some of the flights were operated by new A330-200 for crew training purposes.
So it should have been mine and I hoped to test it.
Unfortunately, there was a delay in the deliveries of the new aircrafts and my flight was operated by an old Meridiana B737-800. In fact on May 2018 when I recorded this video this airline was in the middle of its transition period so airplanes c/s and interiors layout were old Meridiana ones in most of the cases.
So it was for this flight as well.
In every case this aircraft is still in IG fleet at present according to my info.
