"You can't, like I got three pairs on right now. I see them coming up here. I came up here to speak my mind because I've been... hey, how about this? Fifty nine years old, I do construction for a living and everything. I get out there in the cold. I've been cold. This is the coldest and the worst I've ever been in my damn life."

"We have gotten a lot of people being very appreciative and kind to our employees and our crews. But unfortunately, we do have employees that have received threats of violence. And we also had some of our employees' vehicles broken into this morning on our property. So we are monitoring that and we are really appreciative of the Metro Nashville Police Department for their assistance."

Reporter (English): "But we need some kind of reference, some kind of time frame, maybe not an exact day or hour. But when do you think it is realistic to believe power will be restored to this entire county? Is it one week? Is it two weeks? What is the outlier? What is realistic?"
Teresa Broyles-Aplin (English): "It is important for customers to have information about when power will be restored. And as I mentioned earlier, we now have, since we now all of the, a lot of the main lines up, the backbone, as Brandon described it, now is the time that we can put together that information. So I expect to get something out on, first off, the window of time that we expect to have all customers back on, but then we're wanting to give customers regional, like in your neighborhood type of information. So that is coming as quickly as we can get it."
Reporter (English): "What is the window you believe the count, the worst case scenario? Will power be restored in two weeks?"
Teresa Broyles-Aplin (English): "I don't think it's great for me to speculate because I don t have the information, but I'm hoping to have something to give you guys very quickly."

"Here lately, I'll say all we've been eating this peanut butter crackers and about to run out of them and that's the God's honest truth and everything. I've done everything I could. Right now, I'm heating my house right now, I got a fish fryer and I got a big tank. I know it's carbon dioxide, (it will) kill you. But I had to burn it for 30 minutes and leave it off for an hour. That's the only way we could heat that thing. I'm taking a chance to kill myself and kill my wife right now. Because why? Because I'm listening. I ain't sitting around. You know, I said what I had to say. And I walked off and everything because... listen I don't like listening to bullshit. Show it."
