Hello.
I am using a mod for Pokemon Sword that enables shinies to be visible and audible while in the overworld, making it a little bit easier to shiny hunt Pokemon.
According to the author of the mod, they only had to tick a single flag in the code to enable shinies be visible in the overworld.
They then did some coding magic to trigger a sound effect.
