To celebrate 300 years of Bluecoat, artists from Blue Room and children from Out of the Blue have collaborated to create a film. Captured by film maker George Ellis, the groups explore the the building's hidden stories together.
Blue Room is an inclusive arts programme founded by Bluecoat in 2008, which enables learning disabled artists to explore their creative potential. Out of the Blue is an arts project for children aged 5 - 11 which delivers creative activities in the Norris Green, Anfield, and Granby areas of Liverpool. The workshops are supported by volunteers from Blue Room, who share their skills and ideas with the children.
