This is the Korean War memorial for the British and the Belgian soldiers. It is located in Paju, South Korea, near the Imjin River.
The Battle of the Imjin River was fought here. The British and Belgian forces who defended the river were heavily outnumbered by the Chinese People's Volunteer Army. The attack was part of the Chinese Spring Offensive, an attempt to take the capital city of South Korea.
