How to convert a Point Cloud into a Virtual Reality map

In engineering, we work a lot with Point clouds, but we hardly ever use them to their full potential. We only place them in our drawing as "3D photos" while they are capable of soo much more.
Like exploring them on a Virtual Reality headset.
In this video I will take you through editing point clouds with cloud compare, extracting clean meshes and editing them with blender, and taking them into Godot. From there I bring the map to the Quest 2 VR headset.
Instead of choosing godot for your VR editing app, engineers will probably use something like Navisworks. The proces is much simpler there even:
Instead of importing your converted point cloud in godot, you just import it into navisworks using something like fbx, and then export from navisworks via the export plugin of whatever VR app you choose to use.
I just went with godot because it gives me options.
