The silver dollar variety is used in floral arrangements, so it typically easy to find at your local florist. Fiber prep is critical to create lasting eco-prints and tannin is a great mordant option for both protein and cellulose textiles. This tutorial will show how to print with eucalyptus leaves on silk & cotton by binding and steaming to see the different results possible using tannin as a mordant.
