In this episode, India To Bharat explored all the religious places as well as food options on the route from Kausani to Dwarahat.
Our first stop
1. Lodh village on the way to Dwarahat where lot of restaurants are located that offer Kumaoni food to the tourists. We stopped at Rudrakash Restaurant where we ate special bhatt ke dubke along with Kumaoni thali that included

Pahadi Rajma
Pahadi Rice
Jholi
Aaloo ke gutke
Mint Chutney
Chapatti
The price of the thali per person is Rs. 120/
If you want to taste Kumaoni thali at this restaurant, try to visit before 2:30 pm as they run out of food after the 2:30 pm
Next Stop
2. Dronagiri Mandir also known as Dunagiri mandir, which is located in Malla Surana, Uttarakhand. This shaktipeeth is dedicated to Goddess Durga which is second Vaishno Shaktipeeth after Vaishno Mata Shaktipeeth in Jammu. Lots of medicinal herbs all around the temple
Temple Timings: Winter: 5 AM- 5 PM and Summer: 5 AM- 7 PM
Langar is also available at temple from 9 AM- 4 PM
Then we visited
3. Dwarahat town which is an important town on the route to #chardhamyatra. We visited Dwarahat Group of temples made during 11th to 13th century AD by Katyuri Kings. They are total 55 in number spread across all Dwarahat region, including Badrinath temple, Gurjjar Dev Mandir, Mahamritunjya Mandir etc.
Our last stop was
4. Nimral Rana Homestay which is located at Malli Mirai region of the Dwarahat, Uttarakhand. The price of the homestay is Rs. 1200/ per person that includes local Kumaoni food as well.
The homestay is located at top of the hill away from the noise of the traffic. You can park your vehicle at roadside and walk a few metres up the hill to reach this beautiful old-fashioned homestay in the middle of lush green surroundings.
The food in this homestay includes typical Kumaoni cuisines including Gaye Chaas, Mandue ki Roti, Hari Sabzi, Pissa Pahadi Noon (salt), organic beans, aaloo channe, bhatt ka rajod etc.
