We had been out late and ended up having to return to the Slytherin common room together. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to return to my own room and ended up having to spend the night with Draco. As we settled into his room, I couldn't help but feel nervous and out of place. But Draco surprised me when he spoke up, his voice soft and sincere. "Listen, I know we've had our differences in the past, but I want you to know that I'm truly sorry for what you've gone through," he said, his eyes locked onto mine. "And, if it's alright with you, I'd like to try and make it up to you." I was taken aback by his words, and I could feel my cheeks flush. I had never seen this side of Draco before, and it was hard to know how to react. As the night went on, we continued to talk and share our thoughts. I could feel the tension between us growing, and I knew that there was something there - something that neither of us had ever acknowledged before. Draco must have felt it too, because as we settled down to sleep, he leaned in close and whispered, "I know we've had our issues, but there's something about you that I can't shake. I feel drawn to you, in a way that I can't explain." I was shocked by his confession, but I couldn't help feeling the same way. As we fell asleep next to each other, I couldn't help but wonder what the future held for me and Draco Malfoy.
