Members of the live events industry staged a socially distanced protest Wednesday (12 AUGUST 2020) in downtown Los Angeles.
Representatives of the various sectors and businesses affected by the cancellation of live events due to the coronavirus pandemic took turns to speak about the ways in which the industry has been affected and urged the government to take action.
The event at Xbox Plaza was followed by a drive-by, with event professionals left unemployed by the pandemic caravanning in solidarity.
The United States currently has the highest number of coronavirus infections in the world at over 5 million people.
