The 4-Part series, "The tale of 7 Virgins" follows the gang on a series of adventures flying between the United States and Australia delivering and re-delivering 7 Virgin Australia Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Part 3 follows one of the return flights in the Summer of 2021 beginning in Victorville CA. Steve and Jon get as far as Honolulu in this episode before departing for Majuro in part 4. This episode features a short hop across the California desert before the oceanic crossing where the crew uses HF radios to communicate with ATC.
Like episode 1 and unlike the rest of the Cockpit Casual series, Part 3 features another classic Herbie Hancock tune from "Thrust"
